Chillicothe school district teachers propose changes

CHILLICOTHE, Mo. - After learning faculty salaries would be frozen in the Chillicothe R-2 school district next school year, the district's Salary and Welfare Committee took action.

The committee submitted a low-cost proposal at the district's latest school board meeting.

Chillicothe Superintendent Dan Wiebers told KXCV/KRNW that the committee also requested a revision of the board's college hours policy and a complimentary meal certificate for district substitutes.

Wiebers expects the proposal to be approved at the school district's next meeting.
